COMMUNITY ART PROJECT

The 2023 project is: Saori Weaving.  Participants will choose their favorite colors of yarn and learn how to weave fabric on a Saori floor loom to create two long woven panels. Once they’re complete, the panels will be cut off the looms in long sections and will be hung from the ceiling in a draped format. No experience is necessary. All ages and abilities are welcome to try.

YOUTH ART TENT

Our ever popular “Young at Art” tent gives kids the opportunity to get their creative juices flowing.  The tent is stocked with plenty of art supplies, art project ideas, and friendly volunteers.

If you have art project ideas or would like to donate art project materials/supplies please contact Sarah Stowell, Lakeville Art Festival Director at  lakevilleartfestival@gmail.com.

We are also accepting volunteers for the Youth Art Tent.
