Paper cut light boxes are made by cutting sheets of card stock and layering them on top of one another to produce a scene. The layers are arranged in a shadow box frame and lit from behind using LED lights. Light shining through the paper creates shadows and the illusion of depth in each design.

Each piece is designed on an iPad with Procreate and Cricut software. A Cricut cutting machine is used to cut out much of the design, and then small details are added by hand using an X-Acto blade.
