Ann Aas
I create one of a kind enamel jewelry using a torch and the immersion method. I begin with hand cut or punched copper that may be pinched, pierced or fold formed to prepare it for the immersion process. Enamel is applied by heating each piece with a torch and then dredging it in enamel powder. This process is repeated several times. Some pieces are finished with custom made sterling silver chains, links and post tops. Others are finished with wire wrapping and cold connections.
