As a self taught artist I work in fabrication, and casting. My journey started in fused glass, encasing my son’s ashes after his suicide. Working with mainly sterling, I add copper or gold accents in my casting and fabricated pieces, lost wax & sand casting. I create contrast and texture by sand casting two metals together. The use of texture on metal creates depth & complexity, adding patina builds richness and enhance the metals. Set stones add a focal point to a piece.
