Barbara Geurink

I hand weave functional textiles for personal fashion accessories and interiors. I use natural fibers in many different color combinations and sizes. The use of different textural yarns, ribbons and metallics as well as some beading, enhance my work and invite closer inspection. Especially as the pieces I create might look simple at first but when looked closer are made up of more complicated color combinations. My work is preshrunk and colorfast; important in our busy lives.
