I use the pottery wheel as well as hand build with Raku clay. I wheel throw vases, bottle and cylindrical forms, bowls, lidded pieces and components that get put together to create my pieces. I hand-build components that get added on to my pieces or are stand alone sculptures. I Raku fire all of my pieces using a copper matte glaze, white crackle glaze and many other low fire glazes that work in the Raku firing process. I adorn many of my pieces with handmade copper sheet flowers, copper discs.
