I come from a family of weavers, and learned to weave as a child. I bought my first loom about 35 years ago and have been weaving ever since. I have always believed in recycling, but it took on a whole new meaning for me when I could use things that would normally have been in a landfill and create beautiful pieces of functional art. I only use recycled fabrics (old clothing, blankets, etc.) and give them a new life!
