As a physical therapist, my background is in healthcare and my focus is on function. Once I completed my education, I took the opportunity to explore my interest in ceramics and have been fortunate to work with potters from a variety of backgrounds. My wheel-thrown stoneware is functional, meant for everyday enjoyment—display, cooking, entertaining. All pieces are oxidation fired to cone 6 and are food safe, oven safe.
