Emily Lavalier

Collaged originals created from layers of donated magazines. These originals begin with a hand-drawn sketch and appears to grow as layers of paper are added. Hidden images can be found throughout the works, string, beads and tissue paper help add texture to the finished work. Originals average around 100-150 hours and are sealed with varnish to protect them over time. Canvas embellished reproductions and a newer type of linear originals have also been added this year to the booth.
