Ermine Algaier

My craft focuses on the transformation of logs into heirloom kitchen utensils, accessories, and furniture. Utilizing locally and sustainably sourced timber, I use traditional tools and methods to shape and reveal the hidden beauty of wood in a simple, functional form.

All utensils and furniture are finished with hand tools, which leaves a crisp, smooth surface. Each piece is completed by applying a food safe finish (oil, soft wax, or Hassui ceramic).
