Gabriel Berg

I first design templates for nail patterns and drive each nail by hand into birch panels. I then hand weave multiple layers of delicate threads around the nails to create colorful, sacred geometric designs. Based on Eastern European thread art, this meditative art form helps me manage disability. My artwork is a long process all original work and completed entirely by hand to create these detailed pieces.
