In my contemporary landscape art, I strive to distill the essence of the horizon line into the most essential detail. Using subtle hues, I am able to evoke a sense of serenity. My technique includes several layers of acrylic paint, that is sanded smooth. The texture is purposely subtle. The foreground is fluid acrylic applied with water, brushes, and paper towel. The negative space holds equal importances, because within the negative space is everything our imagination will hold.
