I create unique quilted patchwork home goods. I use cotton fabrics, some I hand dye myself. Much of my work is improvisationally pieced, meaning the item was created without a pattern or often much of a plan, seeing where the process takes me. Other times I’ll put a modern spin on a traditional quilt pattern. I make a lot of functional items and believe the functional should be beautiful, from a simple set of oven mitts to a blanket to snuggle under on the couch.
