I’m a realism artist who freehand draws with charcoal/pastels/graphite; playing with shadows and perspective within my work to enhance and/or naturally abstract my subjects. Mainly drawing on black paper with pencils & compressed charcoal, I focus on even the slightest differences in hue to emphasize depth, often adding a layer of emotional impact within my drawings. With these simple materials, I explore how light and shadow can transform, enhance, and abstract ourselves and the world around us
