Ron Netten

This is wheel-thrown, functional and sculptural, high-fire, reduction stoneware. Emphasis is on creating rhythms through personal involvement. I enjoy working simply and with expressive energy, usually when I’m altering the form or using the surface to splash, brush or trail slips. I love passing on to others this fresh sense of being alive, especially, by actual handling a finished fired clay form.
