Wade Scheel

Scheel has been a potter for 35 years. His incorporated images are from drawings made during his travels throughout the U.S. which are then replicated to be used on multiple pieces, always differently, maintaining that “one of a kind preciousness”. His process of transferring those images is very old, which intentionally creates a lower quality image on the work giving an etherial, aged and antiqued surface.” His work is either wood fired or electric fired in and around Saint Paul Minnesota.
